The Secret Success Formula Is Not Exciting

You want the secret to success?

There is one.

But unfortunately, it is not what you were probably hoping for.

Not what I was hoping for, at least.

There is not magic pill, no secret hack, no shortcut.

It turns out that possibly your greatest fears are true.

The secret to success is nothing but patience and work.

Maybe you can be talented and get there a little faster, but grit and persistence are going to win out in the end.

Just get to work.

All you have to do is start.

“Understand: the real secret, the real formula for power in this world, lies in accepting the ugly reality that learning requires a process, and this in turn demands patience and the ability to endure drudge work.”

–Robert Greene and 50 Cent, The 50th Law
