I remember when my dad was not much older than I am now.
And good-grief, my dad is 20 years older than his dad ever was.
We stay young in your heads though, don’t we?
And the years just keep ticking right along.
I mean, in some ways, I will always be an insecure 18-year-old.
This is the same way that our heroes age.
Although, in most cases, what dad isn’t a hero?
He was forty-seven, forty-eight, the age that I am now, but I feel the same age as always, whereas he seemed so much older.
