The World God Should Have Created

The World God Should Have Created

Who has a clue what world God should have made?

I mean, guessing and saying “that’s not fair” seems to suppose a great deal.

Don’t we lose a few things, after all?

I don’t know.

I just think the answers to creating the best world are probably not as clear as you think they are.

For if ethics dissolve, who gets to say what is right or wrong anyway?

It makes my head hurt.

It takes an extraordinary amount of confidence in one’s intellectual abilities to claim, “I know the sort of world God should have created.” Isn’t that a claim to know as much as God Himself?

-Ravi Zacharias and Vince Vitale, Why Suffering?
