I am making a new logbook of the world.
A logbook of – my world – that is.
This my second attempt at this logbook thing. I can’t lie: The first try was a colossal failure.
Where I went wrong, I think, was that my original logbook had dates in it. Every day of the year got its own page.
I found this additional daily writing requirement exhausting. First I missed a day or two. And then it was a week. At some
I will not fail again.
Because this second time there are no dates pushing me to a daily habit.
I will jot things down as I wish, make lists on a whim, and doodle whenever I feel like it.
Every day for a month I might use it.
Or, if I wish – I will put it down for a month or two without a care in the world.
Where I treat this site with more of a daily rhythm, I will treat my logbook as an impulsive pleasure.
