Thom Parham On Christian Filmmakers

Dr. Thom Parham wrote this excerpt on Christian filmmakers.

It’s kind of demoralizing to be honest.

Essentially:

Non-Christians (overall) make better films about Christianity than Christian do.

Read it and see if you agree with him. (I know I did.)

See, you have to show people what you believe and why you believe it, not preach at them.

Art is a metaphor, not a sermon.

The world needs better.

Dr. Thom Parham, an associate professor of theater, film and television at Azusa Pacific University, and a Christian, has written a blistering critique of movies made by Christian filmmakers.
