I think it goes without saying that when you write, you should edit your work.
I mean, plain and simple, you should always want to do your best work.
Simple? Simple.
But too much anguish over making the perfect edits is – I think – completely overrated.
I think Michael Hyatt has it right in this blog post.
His basic point is that making your writing “perfect” will never happen anyway, you can easily fix typos online if you make them, and you will end up with typos no matter what you do.
Do good work – but don’t obsess over your writing mistakes.
