Evernote: A Place For Everything

A great reason to use Evernote is obvious.

Evernote really can store everything.

Ever misplace, or cannot find any of the following? Evernote can be a miracle worker.

Grocery list? Ready.
Recipes? Stored.
Business cards? Gotcha.
Insurance cards? Done.
Receipts? Invoices? Archived.
Birth-certificates? There when you need them.
Marriage license. At your finger tips.
College transcripts? Ready to forward.
Favorite articles? Saved.

Emails? Just CC or FW Evernote anything you want to save.

You don’t have all of the following available in electronic files?

No problem.

Evernote has a smartphone app that coverts anything you snap into a convenient PDF file and uploads the file to your Evernote account.

They have a full-up scanner that does the same.

Personally, I have found another great (random) use for Evernote.

I archive all holiday cards that I receive with it.

Getting a card as you approach a holiday is always a nice gesture, and well received, but I am always left wondering what to do with old cards. Keeping them in a shoe box in the closet seems impractical – while simply tossing them in the trash can seems insensitive.

I just made a notebook “Holiday Cards” for sorting, and each card becomes a new note within that notebook.

Aside from cards, here is the real ringer of Evernote: Everything in Evernote is searchable.

All text is searchable from the search bar on the main menu.

That includes PDF’s and Emails.

Give Evernote a try.

It will revolutionize the way you work in your personal life – and even more so in your professional life.

Evernote really is a place you can store everything.
