#AskGaryVee: One Entrepreneur’s Take On Leadership, Social Media, and Self-Awareness

Good-grief. So I read this book. But what can I say about Gary Vaynerchuk that has not already been said?  In the end, if you are stuck somewhere, or afraid of starting something, Vaynerchuk is a great guy to get you over the hump. As Gary has said: Just start. My favorite thing he does right now is his YouTube show DailyVee. Check it out. And grab a copy of #AskGaryVee if you want some sound business advice. He has a YouTube show called #AskGaryVee too.

Two of my favorite quotes:

“Here’s a question that no one has yet asked me: What is the one tangible thing people can do to change the direction of their lives? Hustle.”

“…because if there’s one thing I’m fundamentally against, it’s complaining. What’s the value in it? I was lucky to learn this lesson very early on from my mother, who I swear has never complained a day in her life, and she’s an immigrant who lost her mother at the age of five and fled from a communist country, so you know her life has not always been sunshine and rainbows. Not that anyone’s ever is. But that’s my point. Problems happen. Life isn’t fair or perfect. Complaining fixes nothing. Only taking action does.”
