What do narcolepsy and grief have in common?
They can look exactly the same.
It’s true.
See, grief often comes in waves.
A day that begins in beauty, and then passes to rage, can end in a three-hour nap before the tide of it rushes back out.
You might look tired, but you are sad.
Just don’t get stuck in your grief,
The sun beat down, the hours passed slowly to the drone of the air conditioner. I kept starting to cry and then falling asleep. Sometimes grief looks like narcolepsy.
