If anything, we should use this adversity (whatever it is for you) as an opportunity to re-prioritize what we truly want out of this short life.

I started looking for ways to set up personal behaviors that I would never want to manifest (rewarding a jerk with my hard-earned money being one of them) in order to drive me to do things that were difficult (finishing a draft of my book).
