You are not too busy for X.
What me to prove it?
Here you go: Are you too busy to eat today?
I didn’t think so.
This is 100%. Because the truth of it all is that you have made a choice about your priorities.
Is watching football all day Saturday more important than whatever goal you are after?
You reveal your preferences, as the economists say…
I mean, do you have any idea how much TV (and such) I give up to read and write everyday?
I realized that this idea of “too busy” was a big fat lie. Saying I was too busy was offloading the responsibility from me. The truth is, I have a huge amount of autonomy over my life. Almost everything in my life is something I choose to have in my life. Everything from the small things like buying a cup of coffee and avoiding work for an hour to big things like being married and buying a house. These are all choices I have made and continue to make.
