A reasonable man is a man that fits in.
He goes to bed sensibly. Eats his three square meals and takes a salary.
He tries to live a balanced life. Annually, he makes sure he has the proper amount of insurance.
Now that is normal and well and all.
But it is not how great things are accomplished.
Steve Jobs was never reasonable. Gandhi wasn’t either. Neither was Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, John Rockefeller, or Elon Musk.
Do not get me wrong, I will be satisfied with where fate and my decisions take me – but I want to be unreasonable the entire way.
Understand: Reasonable actions get reasonable outcomes.
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” George Bernard Shaw
