Yeah, this was us.

One person suffered moderate injuries following a crash between a truck and a tractor early Thursday morning near Ransom Canyon.

Just before 6:30 a.m., DPS responded to the crash on FM 400 near John Long Dr. It appears a tractor was traveling north on FM 400 when a truck approached the tractor from the rear.

DPS says the truck collided with the rear of the tractor. The driver was taken to UMC with moderate injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

But wasn’t our fault! 🤣

So I got to tour Norton Gin last week.

It’s a small old cotton gin that has been closed down for a year or so now (located in Norton, TX – between Ballinger, Bronte, and Winters).

The gin’s claim to fame is that they were one of the last “belt-run” cotton gins in the nation.

A large shaft runs along the length of the ceiling with different size belts coming off it that run different machines.

So cool!
