Here are 5 things I learned reading, Pilgrim At Tinker Creek, By: Annie Dillard
1. Birds do not migrate for warmth. They migrate for food.
2. Ladybugs hibernate, in big clusters.
3. Ice that becomes a gas, without first becoming water, is called sublimation.
4. The average size of all living animals is close to the size of a housefly.
Some of us understand the importance of books.
Of course, your family is important.
Vocation can be too.
But for some of us, books have also been a constant.
A place we could turn.
A medium that took us to unexpected places at unexpected times to find unexpected things…
