I love the idea of having a relationship with a creator.
Seems like so many focus on the rules: Should do this, can’t do that.
The rules are a guide to a more peaceful and obedient life, but the relationship is the point, if you ask me.
I like that picture.
At the end of the day, maybe God just wants to know us, to spend time with us, to be our friend.
Maybe, at the end of the day, he just wants to have breakfast with the ones he loves.
John 21: 11-13:
Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.
