There is no person or job out there that is going to finally make you happy.
Did you know that?
So take a big deep breath and calm down about it all.
But here is the problem:
How do you explain this to a girl raised on fairy-tales?
This idea that no guy is going to come along and fix everything.
Girls become aware of their longings and believe they will be met. It takes a few years, a lot of knocks, and quite a bit of maturity to realize that our fulfillment comes only in short spurts this side of heaven. We want girls to have hope and to expect good, but not to expect perfection. To know that every relationship holds some degree of disappointment, to know that no person or job or event is going to complete them until heaven is powerfully freeing.
