I like that proper perspective can give us the confidence to take risks.
I touched on this talking to a friend the other day.
See, for many, losing a job may look like a devastating and life-changing obstacle.
(I know it is for some. Don’t get me wrong.)
But for many of us, it simply means selling a house and moving back in with our parents….
I mean, think about your grandfather in WWII, the fact that people routinely died of common infection not that long ago, and the oppression and poverty of many.
And you’re gonna whine and cry that your WORST case scenario is moving your family in with Grandma and Grandpa?
You need a change in perspective.
Proper perspective creates calm. And that’s the first step.
Don’t even get me started about the our very existence…
“Proper perspective about every facet of your existence,” he would tell me again and again, “is only everything.”
