I hope you have something to run after too.
It’s not about catching it, mind you. That’s great and all, but secondary.
It’s about simply being alive and having dreams in the first place.
This is about purpose.
I hope you (and I) get up tomorrow with a renewed sense of calling and keep going
.
I am so thankful for the opportunity.
What I realize now was when I first laced up my shoes, I already had all of those things. The running wasn’t about the race or the finish line. It was about the joy of the gift of having something to run after. I realized the Truth. There is no finish line. There is no success or failure. There is nothing to fix. There is only the perfect me, my dream, and the joy of running it down.
