Foreword To Story Craft, By: John Erickson

The foreword to Story Craft (by John Erickson) was penned by writer and intellectual, Nancy Pearcy.

In college I read her book Total Truth – which I remember enjoying greatly.

Here’s to rereading it and dissecting it on this blog one day (soon?).

How great that a children’s fiction author I read as a child, wrote non-fiction that I enjoyed as an adult, with a foreword by a philosopher I read as a teenager.

Like I said: I enjoy it when people I like, enjoy other people I like.

I met John in person for the first time while visiting my parents in Lubbock, Texas. On arriving, I praised the Hank books to my mother (who has a Ph.D. in education) and to our amazement, the newspaper announced that John was slated to present a program at the local library the very next day.
