Different Writer

You ever wish you were a different writer too?

I would be a different writer with a different website, maybe a different day-job, or no job at all.

There would be long walks in the morning, writing between breakfast and lunch, time for lifting weights, reading and napping in the afternoons, and movies after dinner.

Of course, I would eat out for breakfast every Friday and drink more Topo Chico.

But first I need to finish this blog post…

It takes x hours to write a book and some percentage of x hours to wish I were a different writer, writing a different book.

-Sarah Manguso, 300 Arguments (Amazon)
