I have learned that a job saying it is a “fast-paced environment” is a giant red-flag. 🚩

One of the comments here said it well.

I have learned that “thrive in a fast-paced environment” is code for “multiple direct reports and no control over workload,” and inheriting work that was formerly handled by three people.

All you people that kill plants know what this means too though, don’t you. 🤣

did I “kill a plant” or did the plant not have what it takes to thrive in this fast-paced environment
