What is per capita real output?
Per Capita Real Output is nothing but the Real GDP of a nation or state divided by the population of that nation or state.
Formally:
Per Capita Real Output = Real GDP / Total Population
Many consider Per Capita Real Output a better metric of growth than Real GDP because output is reported with respect to the population.
