Chicago Definitely Is America?

Chicago Definitely Is America?

Is Chicago definitely America?

Maybe it is.

But Texas does not seem far off either.

I mean, I guess it depends on your perspective.

How do you define “America?”

Well, that question might have a number of answers to it.

Let’s try a local, West Texas, version of the same thing.

See:

Abilene is practically in Dallas. Amarillo has the cattle yards. And Canyon has West Texas ATM. El Paso has the mountains and Mexico. And Midland and Odessa have the oil. But Lubbock is West Texas.

It might be true.

New York has one foot in Europe. Los Angeles is a collection of suburbs. Miami is café con leche. New Orleans is drunk. Seattle wears flannel. San Francisco is beautiful vistas and empty streets. Boston is ancient. But Chicago is America.
