Maybe we should stop arguing so much about what Jesus meant?
Not about the big things, of course.
We should hold
All I am saying is that there might be just as much virtue in the action of a belief than there is in the philosophizing of it.
It’s like being married.
You need to say “I love you.”
But it’s just as important that you act on it too.
More love. More joy and peace. And patience and kindness and, and all the rest.
They decided to spend more time loving people than trying to game the system by just agreeing with Jesus. You see, they wanted to follow Jesus’ example; instead of telling people what Jesus meant, they just loved people the way He did.
