A friend texted me this meme about taking an extended lunch break on my last day of work.
Too soon? I hope not.
It just made me laugh. Haha.

What can I say?
Lunch is just the perfect midday respite.
Never eat lunch alone? Is that good advice?
Like the popular book by the same name, written by Keith Ferrazzi, suggests?
For some it is. I mean, I get the relational aspect of it.
But I am going to pass.
First of all, lunch is a special thing, not to be taken flippantly. And few know how to take a proper lunch.
Walt Whitman was one who knew how to correctly loaf into the middle of the day.
Second, I’m an introvert. And never having a break during the day would ruin me after a certain point.
I need margin.
More than likely, I need to start scheduling margin.
