Hey parents, here is what you want to know about Carol Of Lights at Texas Tech.
Why?
Because you got there at 7:00 and your kids were whining by 7:15, weren’t they?
After the candle procession, and the MC introducing the third Assistant Vice Provost of Who-Gives-A-Care, you yelled at your youngest child, didn’t you?
The goal is to get there, listen to one or two Christmas carols, watch them throw the lights, and then get home.
Heck it’s 30 minutes till bedtime anyway.
I’ll save you the back and forth, because I stopped to look and jot this down for future generations trying to time their entrance just right.
They flip the lights on at 7:40.
You’re welcome.
