A Completely Blank Calendar And Full Bank Account

This quote reminded me of the difficulties of having a new baby.

The issue of it all being overwhelming, of sometimes taking on too much, and wanting it to stop.

Be encouraged.

If you are rundown, stop.

Reset it all.

Pause for a week.

I love how your perspective can change after a week-long pause.

“One friend said that a way to get at your desire or dream is to answer this question: if someone gave you a completely blank calendar and a bank account as full as you wanted, what would you do? the first thing that leapt into my mind: stop. I would stop. I would rest. I would do nothing at all. I would sleep. The thought if it almost made me weep.”

–Shauna Niequist, Present Over Perfect
