Do All Vices Look To The Future?

I never realized this, but all vices look to the future.

It’s true.

  • Envy
  • Greed
  • Languor
  • Malice

Gratitude is so huge, but I hope I can make an effort to be in the present – to focus on love.

Hence nearly all vices are rooted in the future. Gratitude looks to the past and love to the present; fear, avarice, lust, and ambition look ahead.
