Can you control your level of happiness?
It appears so. And this seems logical. For I tend to view happiness as largely a decision.
Now don’t get mad. I know that this idea discounts essentially any conversations about mental health.
I do not even know what I don’t know about that subject. Yes. Of course, there are some who cannot help how they feel.
Psychologist / Psychiatrist – get help if you need it.
But for so many of us, our level of happiness is chosen.
We let misguided thinking rob us of our joy.
Remember: Thinking governs your decisions.
According to current research, in the determination of a person’s level of happiness, genetics accounts for about 50 percent; life circumstances, such as age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, income, health, occupation, and religious affiliation, account for about 10 to 20 percent; and the remainder is a product of how a person thinks and acts.
