Phronesis is intelligence/wisdom that touches on something a little deeper.
It is a wisdom that is the fruit of practical experience.
You know what I am talking about here.
It’s the calm of knowing that getting mad at the DMV is not going to change anything.
It’s being secure in your job because you know you are capable, and because you know you could get another one.
It’s being comfortable in your own skin, which seems impossible for most youth.
And yes, it’s beautiful.
