We are reading Mommy Loves Me 2 or 3 times a day right now. The illustrations are full and colorful, but not too busy to be distracting. And the length of the book is perfect for that certain age group. Of course, you get to teach your children the various animals as you go too. We substitute “Mama” for “Mommy” during our readings and like to act out the verbs as we go. For how can you read the page “Mommy hugs.” without hugging the little biscuit in your lap?
Oh – and – I want to know more about who wrote this book.
“John and Wendy” is not specific enough for me…I think it’s fantastic creative branding though.
