Feelings of impending doom can be a
It can be a sign of depression, a panic attack, or even a heart attack.
But it can also be the result of an insurmountable obstacle that is staring you down and besting you at every turn.
For example, try being unemployed for nearly two years.
You apply and apply and you are told that you are either overqualified or don’t have any experience.
You apply for four jobs, go for a run, eat lunch, play on your phone, and research more jobs. You do it all again the next day – and a year goes by like that.
Determination turns into frustration and all that emotion just keeps growing and changing.
You went to college and did everything everyone told you too, and you are still unemployed living with your parents.
This is tough stuff. Believe me, I know. But the key is objectivity.
Every raging emotion will do you no good – and the obstacles of life leave you few alternatives.
Every obstacle is unique to each of us. But the responses they elicit are the same: Fear. Frustration. Confusion. Helplessness. Depression. Anger.
