Do you want the freedom to work too?
Not so much the freedom to work, or the freedom from work, but:
The freedom of time and agency in work.
This is simply having control of your own time on this earth.
And who doesn’t want that?
Fame and status is nothing but narcissism. But wealth can buy the freedom of time.
I think it was Naval that said: “If someone can tell you how to dress, how to act, and where to be, you are not truly free.”
Start creating generational wealth today and never take a paycheck again.
A long time ago I heard Derek Sivers, the founder of CD Baby and author of Anything You Want, say only three things can drive you. Fortune, Fame, or Freedom. None of them are right or wrong. You can get more than one. However, only one will drive you. I knew I wanted freedom. Not freedom to travel. I still don’t go many places. Not freedom to work whenever I wanted. I still work set hours during the day. I simply wanted the freedom to make those decisions myself. I wanted to live a life where nobody could make a claim on my time without my approval.
