What do you do when your WordPress host is the only one registering the bot traffic?
My analytics provider does not see it.
I don’t even really care about it.
I care that you're charging me for it
.
And then – to solve the issue – WPengine gives me a bunch of IP addresses to block. ðŸ«
After that, my chat with them developed into this reply:
kinda not sure what to say or do exactly
ugh
Yall are the only ones registering the bot traffic
I am being charged for the bot traffic
But its my job to stop the bot traffic
Sorry
Just frustrating
I just wanted to sh*t post on my own platform, not be a dev 🤣
