It can also focus us and give us clarity of purpose.
To do this, reject the real-time noise.
Not real-time sports – let’s not be ridiculous.
Just real-time feeds, news, social media, email, phone calls, messaging.
- Try checking email only once per day, if possible.
- Only having your phone on during certain hours.
- Reading the paper with coffee in the morning.
- And actually talking with people face-to-face.
Who knows.
It might be worth a try.
