Rest for six days, work for one – sounds better and better the older I get.
It’s not that I am uninterested in things, mind you.
It’s that I am more and more interested in things that I care about – and less interested in what others want me to care about.
Such is life, for now.
Their idea of the sabbatical is to work six days and rest for one; my idea of the sabbatical is to work for (part of) a day and rest for six.
