How Shiny Dime Writing Can Focus You

How Shiny Dime Writing Can Focus You

If you feel stuck writing, the answer might be as simple as a shiny dime.

See, people’s tendency is to pick topics that are too big and then get bogged down in the scope of it all.

I have gotten better about this through blogging.

A post about persuasion does not have to encompass everything I know and will ever know about the topic. I can write other pieces like this later – even repeat myself a little bit in short posts like this – and refer to a video about it later.

It’s ok for an article to stick to a small point.

And the dime?

It’s a metaphor for focus.
