Heartbreaking post here on the fact that corporate loyalty does not pay.
Since they will fire you when it benefits them to do so…
…you should quit when it benefits you to do so.
They are a means to an end.
To work for 40 years for a bad cake in a dimly lit room, obligatory handshakes, and a $50 gift card…
And that’s if it works out well.
Forget that.
Go love on your people and worry less about silly jobs and careers.
