Being able to identify the right problems to solve is the difference between an entrepreneur and an engineer.
Right?
I mean, no doubt an engineer is 1000X better at technical solutions, but what solutions should we care about in the first place?
This is simple, but not easy.
I think there is a difference in the willingness to fail at the heart of it.
Engineers want to plan and plan – forever if you let them. But one who is an entrepreneur at heart is willing to fail over and over in search of the thing that works.
He excelled at creating brilliant solutions to problems identified by others, not in finding the right problems to solve.
