When we communicate or think, we should use the subconscious when possible – or at least not neglect it.
That is to say that there is more going on in the background of our minds than I think we will ever really understand.
I think, the art of persuasion fits into this box.
For example, you don’t understand – you may never understand – how persuasive visuals are to your subconscious.
We think we are arriving at a result thru pure logic and reason, but we find ourselves pulled by emotion and ignorance more than we wish.
Tapping into the subconscious is a powerful communication tool – and aspiring writers should care about effective communication.
