Learn to cook, get lost in a book
Keep up with old chaps, stand in the gaps
Eat pecan pie, and relax before you die

This is 100 percent true.
But I still struggle with turning everything off and going to bed.
I never want to go to bed, and I never want to get up in the morning.
I think I just like the quiet of the house at night.
Being alone at home with my computer, phone, and books – drink within reach…
Some night owl things.
Few.
One of the best parts of getting older is knowing that whatever issue you’re dealing with usually moves in months, not hours, and always merits a good night of sleep before tackling.
