It is about a refusal to accept defeat.

Thank goodness you can’t fail at some things though.

I remember watching Star Trek as a child in Saudi Arabia and hearing the “Borgs” on that show say this in a robotic tone: “Resistance is futile.”

Funny how you sometimes hear about something again 20 years later…
