Don’t be accepting of mediocrity in others.
Why?
Because who we associate with matters.
It matters because the people you associate with will rub off on you.
The longer you are around someone, you will begin to mimic the way they talk, their attitude, and the way they act.
This is why: Tolerating mediocrity in others is the first step to tolerating it in yourself.
I am not saying to cut people out of your life.
I am saying to be careful.
People influence us in ways we can not imagine, if you think about it.
