I don’t think that I have endless opportunities for what I can do with my life, do you?
I mean, sure.
I have options – maybe even more options than most.
But windows of opportunity start to close as the years go by.
The world of endless possibilities that you saw in your youth begins to look further and further away.

anything if I had to.

It’s just that that likelihood of each is going down every year.
This is such a good reminder to not get stuck – you can remake your life today if you have to (or want to).
Don’t ever feel trapped.

Do you have any thoughts?” “I’m less worried about protecting my hands for surgery,” I said. “There’s a lot I can do with my life. If I lose my hands, I can find another job, or not work, or something.” She paused. “Let me ask this: Is surgery important to you? Is it something you want to do?” “Well, yes, I’ve spent almost a third of my life preparing for it.”
